About the Society

The St. Andrew’s Society of Pictou County is a volunteer organisation dedicated to preserving and celebrating Scottish heritage and culture in the region. The Society presents the Festival of the Tartans and supports activities that keep Scottish tradition — the pipes, the dance, the Highland games and the gathering of the clans — thriving for new generations in Pictou County.
