A Tradition Reborn
After a proud history stretching back to 1957, the Festival of the Tartans returns in 2025 for a landmark revival year. From August 13–16, 2026, the Scott W. Weeks Sports Complex in New Glasgow once again fills with the sound of pipes, the rhythm of Highland dance, and the gathering of the clans — three days celebrating the Scottish heritage Pictou County has carried for more than two centuries.
